Leadership Hack: Give your staff a family, not a workplace.

How:

  1. Allow your staff to see your own vulnerability. (Builds trust)

  2. Don't fire them if they initially underperform. Nurture them. (we don't fire our kids)

  3. Get to know them personally. (Naturally increases your empathy)

  4. Be mindful of intra-team relationships, and manage if necessary.

  5. In every way possible, fight for your staff. (Builds loyalty)


To solve high staff turnover, you need to provide your employees a reason to stay. Compensation isn't enough; it's how you make them feel.
