NEW SOLUTIONS

Air Force fighter squadrons are true high-performance organisations and have many similarities to elite motorsport teams.

F1 CULTURE SHIFT

In the high-stakes, cost-capped environment of Formula 1, a team's cultural alignment is just as critical to its competitive edge as its aerodynamic package. Partnering directly with the Team Principal, Jason led a targeted cultural refinement initiative designed to bridge the gap between theoretical team identity and high-pressure execution.

Leveraging his operational background in high-consequence aviation, he established immediate credibility with the team’s highly technical engineers, cutting through standard corporate theory to speak their language of performance and risk. He facilitated in-situ workshops with the senior leadership team to drive core values development, translating those ideals into practical, observable, values-based behaviors.

By embedding these standards directly into the team's daily workflows, the initiative built a unified, high-accountability leadership approach that fostered genuine psychological safety. This operational shift ensured the team's culture became a tangible driver of performance, ultimately contributing to a two-position increase in the Constructors' Championship.

TEAM PRINCIPALS
NEED RESULTS, NOT ADVICE.

The pressure is relentless; your organisation and sponsors are screaming for results and you are in a constant search for marginal gains. The problem? Everyone views performance through the same motorsport lens. You need fresh eyes; an experienced specialist from another domain.

What makes the car go faster?

  • Culture that ensures everyone drives in the same direction

  • Delegation skills which speed up decision making

  • Psychological safety to ensure critical, unfiltered communication flows

  • Unambiguous radio procedures allowing precise strategy calls

  • Human factors integration; checklists and procedures which minimise error

  • Exceptional brief and debrief protocols ensuring no lesson is missed

  • Task rehearsal which leads to flawless execution during chaos

No Theory. Just What Works.

LEADERS WHO ENGINEERED THE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE

"I was fortunate to attend a workshop presented by Jason, which was without doubt the best workshop I’ve attended. Jason’s delivery engaged the whole room and left all inspired."

Tim Springett

Formula 1 Engineer

"A wonderful insight into key operational management techniques within an airforce fighter squadron, and how these can be applied to managing our businesses.

Jason gives a fascinating, professional and well delivered presentation focusing on how a crack military unit looks to maintain standards of excellence.

It is interesting and relevant to the management team in any line of business."

Chris Pearce

CEO, Marshall Wace Asia Limited

“Jason was our speaker in the ‘Corporate Disruptors Forum COVID Solidarity Series - Thinking Outside the Cockpit’, Season 1 & 2. Our team and I were truly impressed by Jason’s expertise and insight in helping more than 400 pilots in the audience, assisting them in reaching their potential and achieving career transformation.
